The theme of i-Dance festival this year is &#8220;The Mountain&#8221;. Hong Kong is surrounded by many mountains and sea with little flat land. Y- Space will lead participants to Tai Mo Shan, the highest place in Hong Kong. Apart from performing in Solo and Improv, they also led workshops and participated in Dancing All Around.The theme &#8220;Invention and conservation&#8221; aim to carry on the histories. Meanwhile, forums were also held to dig into how traditional arts and technology and bring new opportunities in the future.This year, apart from the regular Opening Gala, workshops, forum, &#8220;Solo and Improv&#8221;, performances, &#8220;Dancing All Around&#8221; and &#8220;Dance Under the Sky&#8221;, new programme such as Open Platform were introduced. The performances in two locations were highly distinctive with their own charm. Afterwards, the highlight of &#8220;Dancing All Around&#8221; were detached from the environment and performed in Kwai Tsing Theatre, resulting in &#8220;From Wan Chai to Kam Tin&#8221;, a dance exhibition.
