Graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, with majors in Choreography and Dance Directing. Currently, Mimi teach Contact Improvisation at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. As an apprentice of Nancy Stark Smith, known as the “Godmother of Contact Improvisation,” as well as Master Martin Keogh in the United States and Canada. Also completed certification in DanceAbility International and International ContaKids in Finland and Italy. Mimi was invited to be an assist by Itay Yatuv, the founder of ContaKids in teaching in Europe. In recent years, Mimi have furthered studies in Open Role Tango in Germany and plan to promote it in Asia. Mimi have been following Aaron Wan for many years and conducting research on Somatics for body exploration. Mimi dedicated to promoting inclusive development through dance, embodying the concept of “Dance all together” and actively practicing dance with individuals of different abilities.
