Monologue. Dialogue. In Between.
This is an improvised solo dance that explores the dialogue between the dancer’s monologue and various dance elements. In this performance, the dancer’s movements are not only an extension of their inner monologue but also a conversation with music, space, and the audience.
Through interactive improvisation, the dancer will invite the audience to become a part of this monologue and dialogue. The audience’s responses and participation will directly influence the dancer’s performance, with the expectation that they will feel the relationships and possibilities within the movements, creating a dynamic exchange and connection together.
This solo dance attempts to explore the dialogue between the individual and the self, and to investigate how mutual interaction can enhance the interplay between monologue and dialogue.
