i-Dance(HK)2016 Conference focuses on the exploration the inter-relation of tradition, technology advancement and contemporary dance. Speakers from Mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan and more will share their insights on the subject over the 2-day Conference. Technology advances rapidly. Should dance try to catch up with technology? This is a question for all contemporary dance practitioners. Dance can be traced back to the very early days of human history. The body is the basic instrument for dance expression. Where will dance be heading when technology dominates? Will there be post-humanistic dance in the posthumanism era?
